please click here) A pair of former New York City police officers recently spent five years behind bars for conspiring to blow off a witness whom they suspected of being an informant.
The witness, Christopher Dewayne Jones, who was shot and killed outside his parents' Bronx apartment in 2006, was killed just days before testifying against Anthony Baez, one of the NYPD officers arrested in case.
According to a report in the New York Times, Baez, along with former New York police commander James Synthroid 100mcg $46 - $0.46 Per pill Grant and a fellow former officer named Paul Menezes, was accused of trying to coerce Jones into betraying his co-workers by setting him up with a bogus confidential informant.
The pair was busted together in February 2009 and are scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday.
The pair were originally arrested in 2010 on charges ranging from official misconduct to murder in Baez's death.
"While the jury failed to find Mr. Menezes guilty on any of the charges, jury acquitted him of perjury, conspiracy and using a false identity while police officer, and acquitted him of official misconduct," said Assistant District Attorney Robert K. Tresmond Jr.
The trio was accused of attempting to have Jones killed during a raid on his mother's Do they sell zovirax over the counter home.
According to a source who spoke with the Times, men had been looking for Jones as an informant since 2002 and planned to kill him cover their tracks.

Robert Hamer, of St Albans, appeared at Exeter Crown Court today charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm intent on a dog which belonged to his wife.
The incident happened last April, but the trial was only recently able to come court when an injury had occurred.
Mr Hamer, 53, of St Albans, was alleged to have "with malicious intent" attacked the dog by throwing its body "like a discus," while at the same time "causing serious injury".
A pathologist examining him described the injuries of dog, one which was so severe it had not healed.
The dog's owner has made statements stating that he was woken by his screams during the attack and that he had gone outside in order to get help.
In the course of his examination dog Mr Hamer said there is a clear line of demarcation in his home from outside - and the dog's attack was Buy clomid cheap uk part of an "extensive set up", the Exeter Echo reported.
At one point his court heard two police officers were called to the defendant's home after seeing damage to a window.
He said: "It is a very unusual set up - I never thought it would happen here. I have no idea why it happened."
